We love our connection to our friends at Outside Watch, and they've involved us with some great projects over the years. We were pleased to learn that they were awarded two Telly Awards: A gold for the The Road Less Eaten, and a silver for Paddy O Sucks At Ultrarunning. The series showcases the journey of the U.S. Women’s National Ice Hockey Team, including players like Hilary Knight, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Taylor Heise, Megan Keller, Caroline Harvey and Laila Edwards, on the road to the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship and offers a behind-the-curtain look at Team USA throughout the entirety of the 2023-24 season, starting from puck drop on game one of the Rivalry Series all the way to the final whistle of the Women’s World Championship gold medal game. The 2026 Winter Olympics begin this weekend, but Earshot's Brice Bowman is already in the engineering chair mixing features and various audio segments for NBC's coverage of this year's winter games. This is the fourth Olympics that Brice has been involved with NBC's audio mixing team, and while the productions move fast, we'll try to post updates as to when you can see his work hit the air.

Congratulations to Michael Ashcraft, who plays the role of Deputy County Prosecutor George Martz in the movie "Dead Man's Wire", the Gus Van Sant movie that opened this past weekend. The film is inspired by the 1977 hostage standoff involving Tony Kiritsis. It also stars Bill Skarsgård as Kiritsis, alongside an ensemble cast including Dacre Montgomery, Cary Elwes, Myha'la, Colman Domingo, and Al Pacino.
