We need to have an honest conversation, Greg Ballord has zero chance of winning the SOS race. He is unknown in many parts of the state, struggled to get on the ballot and is polling at 7% if we are being Generous. A vote for Ballord is voting for the Republican Party. We have had the most engaged base I’ve seen and yet our primary turn out went from 14 to 17%. That is nothing, that is not enough of the state to have a dark horse candidate win. People are not engaged. We can not fix that in a matter of weeks, so continuing to pretend there is a viable third party option in this race will end in Engling being victorious.
You might not like this but math and facts do’t change because we don’t like something. We need to think long and hard about what the options are and where we are. Indiana democrats haven’t had a state wide win in almost 2 decades. Do you really think a third party who isn’t polling in the double digits less than 100 days before the election has a chance? Do you really want to risk the fact that if Max wins, he is giving our info to the federal government, he is going to enforce the save act, and gut voting rights? Beau has committed to w**d out corruption and safe guard our elections and for this position it is what is required.
The ads: Ask your self why would he do this? Could it be that if you want a real chance to win in Indiana you can’t be completely anti-gun? I’ve lived in the suburbs, country, and cities in Indiana. Outside the city, it’s pretty entrenched in a lot of Hoosiers lives, for better or worse. The ads while not meant for democrats, they would be very effective at swaying some of upset middle, right and even far left in our state. Politics is a game of numbers and the sooner we see that, the sooner we can see change in Indiana.
