This was the toughest day I have ever had on our farm, the first time everything went wrong and threw me (Joe) into a financial tailspin for two years.

June 28, 2018 was the day I lost what was left of everything. It had already been a challenging season due to a very warm February, slow spring, high winds and a surprise May snowfall. Things had been looking up until an intense storm dropped ten inches of rain in less than an hour.
