Q REPORT: TSA IS BREAKING — BUT WHY?
Right now, something bigger than airport delays is happening.
• Hundreds of TSA agents have already quit
• Thousands are working without pay
• Major airports are running on shortages
• ICE agents are now being brought in to support operations
This isn’t just a staffing issue. This is pressure on a national security system.
Now here’s where it gets deeper…
Anyone remember "Project 2025?" There they outlined a future where:
→ TSA is privatized
→ TSA workers are deunionized
And in 2025… those moves started happening.
• The administration attempted to strip union protections from ~50,000 TSA workers
• Courts stepped in and blocked it — twice
Now fast forward to today:
A shutdown hits → workers go unpaid → people quit → system weakens
So the real question is…
1. Is this a coincidence?
2. Or is the system being pushed toward a breaking point where “privatization” becomes the solution?
Let’s be clear:
Dem lawmakers have already tried multiple times (11 times to be exact) to pass stand alone legislation to fund TSA specifically. And multiple times Republican lawmakers shot it down over more $ for ICE whose already funded for 2 years.
But there is a clear alignment:
The conditions we’re seeing right now…
are the exact conditions that make that policy easier to justify.
This isn’t about politics.
This is about infrastructure, control, and what comes next.
