JAXSON DART’S 2026 SEASON IS OVER 💔

The New York Giants QB is expected to undergo season-ending knee surgery after further testing revealed damage to his MCL, PCL and meniscus, per , and .

The meniscus is reportedly the primary concern, while Dart’s ACL remained intact. The expectation is that he’ll make a full recovery following surgery.

Dart suffered the injury on the Giants’ opening drive against the Rams on Monday Night Football, when his left knee was forced inward as he was hit by 2 defenders. He initially walked off under his own power before being ruled out.

The news comes less than a day after HC John Harbaugh pushed back on reports that Dart could miss the season, saying evaluations were still ongoing and the Giants needed to work on “our own timeline.”

And the timing is brutal.

wait… Giants season NOT over?! 👀

After multiple reports said Giants QB Jaxson Dart’s knee injury is worse than initially believed and could potentially end his 2026 season, HC John Harbaugh made it clear New York isn’t ready to announce anything yet.

Harbaugh said Dart has undergone an MRI and further evaluation, but no final decision has been made as the Giants continue consulting with doctors and everyone involved.

“We’ve learned a lot more… but we don’t have that yet. I don’t want to get out over our skis on that.”

He added:

“Can’t really respond to every report that people make; we’ve got to kind of work on our own timeline here.”

Dart injured his left knee on the Giants’ opening drive against the Rams after being hit by 2 defenders. He initially walked off under his own power, was eventually ruled out, and New York went on to lose 28-6.

The concern is still very real: NFL Network and ESPN reported that testing showed the injury was more severe than initially anticipated, with Dart expected to miss an extended period and the possibility of season-ending surgery still on the table. But as of now, the Giants have not officially declared his season over.

🚨 Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors have agreed to a 2-year, $115M contract extension, keeping the 2x Finals MVP in Toronto beyond this season.

The deal includes a player option for 2028-29, giving Kawhi flexibility to revisit his future before the final year. Per YossiGozlan/X Leonard also left roughly $9M on the table by taking less than the maximum extension amount.

Because of the NBA’s Over-38 rule, Kawhi was limited to adding only 2 more seasons onto his current 2026-27 deal. The player option could also set him up to potentially re-sign with Toronto again in 2027.

The extension comes just days after Toronto officially completed the blockbuster trade bringing Kawhi back 7 years after he led the Raptors to their first NBA championship and won Finals MVP in 2019.

And he’s not coming back washed either.

JAXSON DART EXITS MNF WITH A KNEE INJURY 😳

Giants QB Jaxson Dart suffered a knee injury on New York’s opening drive against the Rams after taking a hit while attempting a 3rd-down pass. He immediately grabbed at the knee before eventually walking off under his own power.

Dart was evaluated on the sideline, went into the medical tent and later limped to the locker room. The Giants officially listed him as questionable to return.

mahomes wasn’t tryna hear yall bs😂😂

After one of the wildest moments of the Chiefs-Colts overtime thriller, Mahomes admitted he was actually glad officials overturned what initially looked like a game-ending Chiefs fumble recovery.

Mahomes:

“I was actually kinda glad… because I didn’t want to see Twitter’s reaction if they would’ve called it a fumble.”

Here’s why:

Kansas City led 30-27 in OT when Daniel Jones hit Laquon Treadwell for 48 yards down to the Chiefs’ 17.

Treadwell got up after the catch, Nohl Williams punched the ball loose, and L’Jarius Sneed recovered for Kansas City. It was initially ruled a fumble — which would’ve ended the game.

Replay overturned it, ruling Treadwell was down by contact before the ball came out.

Indianapolis kept possession and kicked a field goal to tie it 30-30.

Then Mahomes got the ball back and Kansas City finished the job.

Does Rodgers have a point? 🧐

After the Steelers scored just 3 points in a 20-3 loss to the Patriots, Rodgers said Pittsburgh needs stronger player leadership — and put part of that responsibility directly on himself.

“The best teams are player-led teams… that starts with me at making sure Mike knows what’s working, what’s not working.”

Rodgers later clarified that he wasn’t blaming the play-calling, saying “the plays were fine” and Pittsburgh simply didn’t execute well enough. Mike McCarthy also took responsibility afterward and said the Steelers need to cut down the offensive volume and simplify things.

CATCH OR FUMBLE?! THE CHIEFS-COLTS OT ENDING WAS CHAOS 😳

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Indianapolis Colts 33-30 in overtime on Sunday Night Football, but one replay review nearly ended the game completely differently.

With Kansas City leading 30-27 in OT, Daniel Jones hit Laquon Treadwell for 48 yards to the Chiefs’ 17.

Treadwell initially appeared to fumble after Chiefs CB Nohl Williams punched the ball out, Kansas City recovered, and the game looked OVER.

Then replay stepped in.

Officials overturned the fumble, ruling that Treadwell had established possession, was touched by a Chiefs defender and had his knee hit the ground before the ball came loose — making him down by contact.

Indianapolis kept possession and kicked a 38-yard FG to tie it 30-30.

Kansas City still got the last word.

Harrison Butker drilled a 40-yard game-winner as overtime expired.

Aaron Rodgers got SMOKED 😭😭

The New England Patriots defense overwhelmed Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 20-3 beatdown, holding Pittsburgh without a touchdown all afternoon. Rodgers was under pressure throughout, took 4 sacks, threw an interception and had a late fumble returned 19 yards for a Patriots TD.
