We check the sheep multiple times a day while they’re lambing, and they are so interesting to watch if you take a minute to pay attention. I noticed this lamb wandering around crying out for her mom, and we waited to make sure she found her. And she did! Sheep are such fun animals!

Took my chance to pet a little heifer calf when some of the herd was by the water trough. I was about to live out my Disney princess dreams, and this bull calf was being… well like a bull 😆

We havn’t seen one of our new baby calves in 2 days and she’s only 3 days old. 😬 So, I took a minute to walk the pasture to see if I could find her. And I did! The grass is so tall you could see her lying down in it until you got really close. I decided to check on her and make sure she wasn’t weak or sick, and I quickly found out that she’s fine. 😁 She jumped right up. Praise God!

It’s been just over a year since Okie Family Market reached out to us, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Just like it says, we try to produce the cleanest, most nutritious chicken possible. So, when we learn there’s something better, we change. We’ve always done certified organic feed because we don’t want chemicals in our animals, but when we learned we could eliminate corn and soy too, we did. So, this year’s chicken will be fed literally the best feed you can buy.

Morning delivery and protein donuts at Okie Family Market! We are restocking our pastured chicken at all of our retail locations slowly but surely. Plus, we had a cart full of eggs this week… the laying hens are really kicking it into high gear 😄

We’re so blessed to have stores like them that believe in locally grown food and clean ingredients. So glad we get to partner with them to make those foods accessible to more people.
