We are a 1st and 2nd generation family dairy that milks 2700 cows between two dairies that are located in Ionia, MI and Hastings, MI. Our dairy currently milks 1400 cows 3 times a day to produce more than 120,000 pounds of milk per day, which is almost 14,000 gallons per day. rs to be made into pure, tasty, and healthy products such as bottled milk, ice cream, yogurts, nutritional products, baby formula, various types of cheeses, and many more products. Tubergen Dairy Farm LLC began as a dream for Dennis and Doris Tubergen shortly after they were married. They decided to purchase a dairy farm and 20 cows in Rockford, MI in 1982 and began their dairy farming experience together. After farming on their 1st dairy for 7 years, they relocated to the dairy farm's current location in Ionia, MI. Tubergen Dairy Farm LLC has grown through several expansion phases since then, and now milks 1400 cows 3 times a day. Having had 4 children, Amber, Kurt, Todd, and Renae while operating the dairy, Dennis and Doris Tubergen also sparked a interest in dairy farming in their children. As a result, Tubergen Dairy Farm LLC is a joint partnership between Dennis and Doris, along with Kurt and Todd Tubergen, and Amber Alexander. Between the 5 owners and the 25 employees, including 16 that milk the cows on 3 different shifts, the dairy efficiently produces the most wholesome product in nature, Milk. Along with the more than 1400 animals cared for at Tubergen Dairy Farm, we also farm 2000 acres of land, which is solely used to produce feed for the cows, and heifers on the dairy.
