Fall busy season + new headshots + a break between meetings = a new intro post!

My name is Nathan Kabat (rhymes with rabbit 🐇), and I’m blessed by the opportunity to help couples + their families celebrate in style on one of the biggest days of their lives :)

When I’m not behind the decks you might find me grilling burgers 🍔 or playing some frisbee golf 🥏, or experimenting with some video editing (check out the YouTube!)

2025 has been amazing so far, can’t wait to finish the season strong - we’re keeping the parties rolling into 2026 and beyond!

Jaxin + Dylan was our first wedding of the spring season, and it was such a fun one to be a part of! Although the chilly weather kept us inside most of the day it didn’t stop us from keeping the dancefloor hot!

Throwback to a wedding from the best month of the year (September is my birthday month haha) and a very kind review! Lots of singalongs and got into some rock music too for this epic dancefloor 🤘🤘

I don’t think it’s a surprise that as a DJ, I’m also a music lover. I decided I wanted to do something small each month to ‘catalog’ new music that makes me smile, or groove, or just generally fits my personal vibes. I also decided to make some of these finds publicly available on Spotify if you want to participate in a small piece of my music discovery. Each month (except January, RIP) this year and going forward will have the cream of the crop collected into a 45-60 min playlist. If you’d like some links leave a comment below and I’ll send em to ya :) my hope is that you’d find something new you’ve never heard before, possibly alongside some familiar favorites that I also happen to love.
