When I ordered 275 copies of The Shampoo Effect I was a little nervous that I may not need to restock until 2029. That’s just an incredibly insane amount of copies for a shop of our size to order. But ummmm we ran out. And we had to get more. Now, with 306 copies sold it’s our best selling title EVER at Tidal Pages Bookshop… and it’s only been out since June! Never fear, we just got a restock and there are more on the way. Such a fun summer IPSWICHY read! Congrats Jenny Jackson! 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

Here it is! We just pulled our weekly sales for the New York Times bestsellers list and these were our top five!
1. The Shampoo Effect by Jenny Jackson certainly needs no introduction. We’ve now sold exactly 300 copies of this book! 😳
2. We just can’t stop talking about, and buying, Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke. Do we love it? Do we hate it? Yes we do and no we don’t and neither and both 😅
3. Ann Patchett is always a huge hit in Ipswich, and Whistler is still going strong.
4. Valley of the Moms by Hannah Selinger was out of stock for a bit but made a comeback this week when we finally got it back!
5. One of my new FAVORITES, Sunlight Finds You by Laura Moriarty rounds out our top five. Getting GREAT feedback on this one from people who’ve gotten it (love when our recs land so well)!

An honorable mention is The Calamity Club, which has been backordered for a lonnnnng time… but we get it back next week… with so many people waiting on their reserved copies it’ll surely be on next week’s list.
