Imagine my surprise and delight when a dancer from my friend Michelle Nordberg’s class (Line Dance 4 Joy) in St. Albans VT showed up to my class in Ipswich MA last night!! It made class feel extra special with folks from home there 🥹

Alburgh class! I’m off visiting colleges with my daughter this weekend but have no fear, Nancy Dow is here!! She has come to class previously so she may look familiar 🙂. Nancy owns Adirondack Kickin' with Nancy and teaches on Monday nights in Dannemora and Tuesday nights in Plattsburgh. She has been a line dancer and instructor for many years, so I leave you in the best of hands! She is all spun up on what we have been doing and what needs doing before the Jamboree. ENJOY this opportunity to dance with Nancy and I’ll see you on the dance floor on 5/8!!

Hello, dancers! Phew, the days are just flying by me and I realized this afternoon that I never did an update after class the other night!!!

-First of all, thank you to everyone who came out on such a beautiful night - I didn’t expect that many people to show up, but what a pleasant surprise ❤️. And I don’t know about you, but for those of us that stayed after class to dance, I had a blast!!!

-Here is the link to the dance we learned, “Hoedown”. It definitely has some footwork that some of you have not done before, and that will take a little bit of practice for some folks. That’s what lessons are about, right? Practice if you get a chance, but we will keep at it 🙂

-donations from 4/17 and from this Friday’s class will go to the islands in the sun senior center in Alburgh!
