I went to this estate sale simply to tour the house! It needs a lot of work done to bring her back to her glory but you can imagine the showplace it once was.

In Alabama It's 90+ degrees, 150% humidity, and heat advisories being issues daily. Yet yesterday, 2 out of 3 items I sold were coats. And they both sold within 8 hours of listing! Somebody somewhere is thinking about wearing coats right now, so list them and get them sold!

You gotta love it when something sells within minutes of listing on ebay and you're left wondering if you priced it too ...

How in the world does this happen? I bought this pair of onyx goblets at a recent yard sale. Transported them, cleaned them, photographed them, listed them, and put them in a tub. I picked up the one on the left to grab something that sold and the bottom popped off and flew across the room! What in the world! All I can figure is that there was a crack that I never saw (and still can't see in the pictures I took) but I'm glad it happened before they sold! Now I have to re-list just the one. Anybody know how to up-cycle a broken stone goblet?

This morning I stopped in The Royal Market in Alabaster, AL to check out the new location! They're still getting things set up but there was so much to see! Jewelry, handbags, clothes, shoes, housewares, oh my! And it was so much fun to hear their regular customers coming in to check out the new space. Sounds like everyone is excited over it! I found out when I got to check out that their AC wasn't working. They could've given some warning! Y'ALL these other folks were walking around like nothing was wrong. Meanwhile I've pulled my hair up on top of my head and am beginning to question my sanity AND the effectiveness of my hormone meds!

It's great to have a dog that can tell time but not temperature. 😂 It's *time* for her walk and she doesn't care that it still feels over 100 degrees out there! Luckily she doesn't want to go far and the street we walk on is mostly shaded. I know it could be worse but, dang, it's hot out there!
