It's week here on the Black River Scenic Byway! Andddd. The day is finally here! Our Stargazers U.P. Campground officially opens for the season tomorrow, May 8, and we'll be welcoming our first campers ⛺️

With that, we'll have special hours this week in our cocktail bar:

🍻Thursday 5/8: 4pm - 9pm
🍻Friday 5/9: Noon - 10pm
🍻Saturday 5/10: Noon - 10pm
🍻Sunday 5/11: Noon - 9pm
**we will flex our hours to as late as Midnight if we have a crowd at our closing times

Serving Cocktails, Mocktails, Draft & Bottled Beer, Wine, Pub Pizza's... and now offering a few new snack options:
🔸️Basket of Fries
🔸️Jalepeno Poppers
🔸️Cheese Curds!

Our general store will operate on the same hours.
Get your bagged ice, drinks, snacks, sunscreen, bug repellant🦟 (yes! They are now making their presence known!!), and more!

We have a busy month of May coming up! It's the start of bike season and we are kicking it off with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at the Miner's Park Trails followed up by a group ride and a screening of the film Biketown and live music by Scott Kirby Music at Cold Iron Brewing as part of the Downtown Ironwood First Friday on May 3.

You won't want to miss this event. The film Biketown by Freehub Magazine portrays how trails have transformed communities across the country and features the Redhead MTB Park in Chisolmn, MN. Pete Kero, engineer and creator of the trail system will also be joining us to speak of his experience.

This is followed up by a live performance from one of the Northwoods' most popular musicians, Scott Kirby!

2024 Dirt Crew memberships will also go on sale this day and will be available during a membership drive at the event. Friends of Miners Park will also be present where you can learn more about and join their organization too.

The very next day we will be celebrating International Women's MTB Day where local women mountain bikers of all levels and abilities will be gathering at Miners Park for a group ride followed by some social time to get to know each other!

The yearly group ride schedule is also being released! We are starting our Tuesday night rides the following Tuesday from Cold Iron Brewing. Cold Iron is naming the Sisu Dirt Crew their non-profit of the month for may, so we will be starting and ending all of our May Tuesday night rides from there where we can enjoy a post-ride refreshment and help support our trails!
