Good morning my Estill County peeps! Today is a SEVERE WEATHER DAY!
Here's what I know:
Storms will develop later today during the afternoon. Some of these storms will be severe.

Severe storms can have:
Straight line winds 70+mph
Large hail 1-2 inches
Torrential down pours
Tornadoes

With that being said, make sure you have a way to receive severe weather warnings. If you are driving and get caught in a downpour use extreme caution! Flash flooding will flood roads quickly. Do NOT drive through flood waters. If you drive a high profile vehicle flash floods can still sweep you away and high winds are more dangerous.

I will be watching through out the day and will post updates as needed. Everyone stay weather aware and be safe today.
