This book is a project I have been working on for a while. There are many parts of a woman, but the heart of her, the part that's buried deep inside, is very often neglected and overlooked. And it takes more than just a touch to unwrap who she really is. From a child she believes the fairytales, but she is trained to understand that heroes are only found in stories. And to look for someone to rescue you, makes you weak and pathetic. So the little princess becomes a warrior, in a world that now tells her to be soft. She is raised and positioned to run her race. But until she feels safe enough to stop running, her track shoes remain steadily in place. And until she meets her covering, she will never feel comfortable enough to be truly naked.
This is a book about the journey of a woman, why she had to learn to be strong or die, and how she finally understood that being vulnerable could never make her weak.
