A cool announcement on the future of camera lenses. Introducing a ultra then flat lens that uses diffusion to pin point light onto a sensor also can be made using plastics and even less glass.

Imagine digital cameras or smartphones without the bulky lenses or eyeglasses with lenses that are paper thin.
