Rambler Texas Media is a community-owned, non-profit news organization that remains the best source of comprehensive and original news stories for Irving, Coppell, Grand Prairie, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, DeSoto, Lancaster and Hutchins. Founded in 2003 by John and Stacey Starkey, the Rambler remains the best source for comprehensive and original news stories for the Irving area, Grand Prairie and C

oppell areas. The DFW NewsFlash was added in 2011 to serve the growing passenger and employee population at DFW International Airport by reporting developments in the aerospace industry and new from around Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In 2012, The Irving Rambler expanded into Coppell, and the company officially changed its name to the Rambler Newspapers in order to reflect its growing scope and expanding coverage. As of 2023, Rambler Newspapers was dissolved and reformed into Rambler Texas Media, a non-profit news organization focused putting local community journalism back into the hands of the community.

The search is on for the 41st Annual Ms. Mature Irving! This special event celebrates the confidence, talent, grace and life experiences of Irving women age 60 and older.

Contestants will have the opportunity to showcase a talent, build new friendships, and represent the Irving community while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Eligibility:
• Ladies 60 years and older
• Must have lived in Irving for at least two years
• Showcase a talent
• Attend rehearsals

**UPDATE 3:00 AM: The Texas DPS Alert and local alerts issued by the Irving Police Department have been canceled. Julie Hello has been safely located and is being reunited with her family.

We are working with the Texas Department of Public Safety to activate a Silver Alert for 66-year-old Julie Hello, who has been diagnosed with Dementia and was last seen on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m.

We are asking for the public’s assistance and to be on the lookout. Anyone with information about Julie’s whereabouts should contact the Irving Police Department at (972) 273-1010 or call 911 immediately.

The Irving Connector is a public transportation solution for Irving residents affected by the discontinuation of bus routes 225 and 255 by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). Provided by Via Transportation, the service also includes The Loop at Las Colinas, a new circulator to improve mobility in the Urban Center.
Public transportation service for routes 225 and 255 begin June 10 with the first two weeks FREE through June 24, 2026.

Operates Daily
No Reservations Required, Fixed-Stop Boarding
Large Vans with Wheelchair-Secured Space and Seating for up to Nine Passengers

Reservations will NOT be required. Riders will be able to use Via Transportation’s Citymapper mobile application to view real-time schedules and purchase tickets.
