The Cooksey team had the pleasure of volunteering with Many Helping Hands Ministry, a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals experiencing sheltered and unsheltered homelessness in the Irving community. We spent the afternoon preparing and serving meals, connecting with guests and experiencing the compassion that defines this incredible organization.

Many Helping Hands provides nourishment, healthcare, spiritual support, educational opportunities and other vital resources, all aimed at promoting dignity, hope and love.

Last week, Cooksey attended the Texas Municipal League’s (TML) 113th Annual Conference in Fort Worth!

Public Sector Practice leadership members Colby Walton, Jason Meyer, Tom Bryson and Dorothy White met with representatives from municipalities across Texas. The team enjoyed connecting with current clients and introducing new contacts to Cooksey’s wide range of services, including public relations, crisis communications, comprehensive communications assessments and more.

Happy Halloween from Cooksey! Our team went all out this year, from Dancing with the Stars judges (our first-place costume winners) to Philly Karen, Justin Bieber and even Fantasy Football. The creativity did not disappoint.

We celebrated the spooky season with a costume party, delicious pizza, themed desserts and another round of our Cooksey “Mind the Gap” Game: Halloween Edition. It’s always great to see our team bring together fun, teamwork and a little Halloween magic!

Cooksey team members Jason Meyer, Mary Kate Jeffries, Collin Yoxall, Krista Nussey and Regan Welch provided event support and media relations expertise to clients Hillwood Properties and the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce during Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day.

The program featured a collaborative roundtable discussion with Chamber leaders from across North Texas at Williams Square, followed by a fireside chat with Ross Perot, Jr. and Beth Bowman at The Constellation Club.

Texas is driving global trade and is only picking up speed!

During a recent stop on the Good for Texas Tour: Ports Edition, which the Cooksey team supported through staffing and media relations, Acting Comptroller Kelly Hancock visited AllianceTexas, a powerhouse inland port and vital link in the global supply chain for the Southwest.

With direct intermodal rail connections to the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and Houston, AllianceTexas brings the world’s goods straight into the heart of Texas.

In 2024, Texas ports drove $1 trillion in international trade, and AllianceTexas alone contributed $834.6 million, marking a 550.7% surge since 2016.

Cooksey’s Creative Department was honored to bring the creative vision of this year’s FightNight to life for our client, The Real Estate Council (TREC Dallas)!

Inspired by a “Black Tie & Boots” theme, the designs emphasized glitz and glam with a Texas flair. A sophisticated color palette of black, silver and burgundy set the tone, evoking elegance and style throughout every creative piece.

The western theme came through strongly in the logo, featuring a lasso, western typography and rhinestone-style sparkles to tie together the feel of the event. This look carried into the animations used in the email invitation, bout card and event program booklet. The program cover even featured a special print technique that gave it a subtle, metallic look.

We’re proud of the creative work that helped make this year’s FightNight such a memorable experience!
