Major key when it comes to most specialty lattes… MIX IT UP 🫐 I tried to mix this one, but obviously I didn’t do it well enough. It made the flavor hard to taste in the begining but once it got a little bit more incorporated, it was delicious!

We came for the lobster rolls, the crab rangoon mozzarella sticks were just a bonus 🦀

Crab rangoon and mozzarella sticks are two things I talk about an unreasonable amount, so obviously combining them meant I had no choice but to order them. Crispy, cheesy, crabby perfection.

Back to the main event 🦞 I’m 100% a Connecticut-style hot buttered lobster roll over a cold New England-style girl, and this one absolutely hit the spot. Plenty of lobster, warm butter, soft roll… exactly what I want when I’m down the Jersey Shore but don’t get nearly often enough!

Girls’ night, but make it dim sum 🥟🍸

We checked out the new Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao in White Plains and ordered exactly the way a girls’ dinner should be ordered: way too much and a little bit of everything to share.

Colorful soup dumplings with six different fillings, fried dumplings, noodles, scallion pancakes, cocktails, teas… basically the kind of table where everyone keeps reaching across to try something else.

If you’re looking for a new spot for dim sum, soup dumplings or girls’ night in Westchester, add this one to the list.

Personally, I cannot afford a stay at Villa La Cassinella 🤪 but the beauty of taking a boat ride around Lake Como is getting the chance to gawk at it anyway!

This luxurious private villa sits on Lake Como’s western shore near Lenno and is accessible only by boat. You can’t see much from the water — privacy is very much part of the appeal — but looking at photos of the property afterward had me even more convinced of how stunning it is.

One of my favorite details is an outdoor dining table tucked beneath an ivy-covered arched loggia that perfectly frames the mountains and Lake Como beyond it. I mean… can you imagine having dinner there!?

This property recently sold in early 2026 setting a real estate record in the area, can you guess how much it went for?

It feels like every time I talk about & get excited for a dish myself it almost pours over into them too. Suddently something they don’t like becomes something they want to take part in as well!

She says she hates mushrooms and I can understand that they’re a bit weird looking, so getting her to even try something mushroom adjacent feels like a win 🍄‍🟫

I was a picky kid myself so I do have to try and be patient with them, but it’s so exciting when they start eating a new food. I can’t wait till we can head out on all kinds of culinary adventures together one day!

Heaven may be a city in Switzerland ☁️

My visit to Lugano was short but certainly sweet. Would I visit Lugano again? Absolutely! I know there has to be a lot more to discover than I have so far. The lake is absolutely picturesque and I would love to get out on it. Something to look forward to for next time 🤍
