Please welcome a new addition to your new Friday night soundtrack:

Spinster's Rock with Cristina.
Spinning, threading, weaving musical textiles for the rowdy, moody, funky, scrappy, silly, sexy, and real. 7-9pm (alt weeks)

🌟🐕💃🏼🥁🌟

Of course, Rocket Morton lands his ship on the same time slot every other week with an assortment of wild R&B shouters, lysergic weirdos with wah-wah pedals and fuzzed-out avant-garage punks.

🌟👨🏼‍🚀🚀🌟🎸🌟

And as ever, the Conference of the Birds convenes at 9pm for experimental, folk, and classical musics from around and beyond the globe, from field recordings to free-jazz. Hosted by Stephen Cope.

WRFI is homegrown by the people of Ithaca and the Finger Lakes. The federal government is gutting funding for public media. But one thing hasn't changed, only YOU make people-powered radio possible. RESIST THE VOID and get involved at WRFI.ORG.
