Kitsch Magazine, a fellow magazine on campus and Ithaca's premier feature magazine, has lost the $3500 in funding it needed to pay for magazines they already printed. As a student run publication, Kitsch allows members of the Cornell and Ithaca communities to work together to create a publication of unhindered free expression that showcases fiction, art, journalism, and many other artforms. The Risley R***e believes strongly in this shared mission of promoting artistic expression and supports Kitsch in its efforts to raise funds. With this shared mission in mind, The Risley R***e Editorial Board recommends that our readers to consider contributing any amount to their campaign so that Kitsch can continue distributing and supporting unhindered artistic expression.

Ithaca's only features magazine - Pop culture, politics, college, Lemony Snicket, feminism, gnomes.

This semester we're using a different press to print our covers. A good printer can get about 2 pages a minute on this one, manufactured in the late 1800s to early 1900s by Chandler & Price. Here's a video of how this semester's cover is printed.
