TEN years ago on this day, we filmed the music video for here in with Smack Dab Media. It currently has 165,000 views on YouTube and our most successful video to date. Here are TEN interesting facts:
1. We didn't have a permanent drummer at the time so we flew a girlfriend of mine from Florida up to play drums for the video
2. We did a casting call to pack the bar out. It was called Boneshakers and shut down less than a week after we filmed this.
3. The motorcycle used in this film belongs to Panhead Phils Music City Motorcycle Company. The shop has been here in the middle of Nashville for longer than any independent owned shop and remains to this day. They used to throw the most killer block parties.
4. This video was used as evidence to convict the lead role actor after he shot Outlaw country star, Wayne Mills and killed him. 😳
5. The inside lining of my coat ripped so I used silver duct tape to redo the entire inside liner.
6. My choker I'm wearing is actually a leather bracelet that I connected with a hair tie underneath my hair. I thought it looked cooler as a choker.
7. The main actor brought his dog to the shoot for some reason. It peed all over the warehouse and directly on a pedal board of another band who used the warehouse as a rehearsal spot. We had to pay for that.
8. The original storyline didn't have anything to do with guns, but the lead actor and director thought it would be more interesting....and it was.
9. The lead actress is also the lead role in Eric Church's music video "Creepin" and was a Pl***oy model for a period of time.
10. We wrote this song for a TV series called Sons of Anarchy that has just started their first season.
