In 1909 a corporation bought 325 acres of Queens farmland and built something that had never existed in America before — the first and largest garden-apartment community in the United States.
Neo-Tudor. Neo-Georgian. French Renaissance. Italian Romanesque.
Two architects. One neighborhood. Still here 100 years later.
