Queens never stops surprising me.
One weekend you’re eating Tibetan noodles in Flushing, the next you’re watching live performances from dancers representing cultures from all over the world.

The Queensboro Dance Festival is coming up, and honestly, this is the kind of event that reminds you why people love living here. Art, movement, music, languages, energy — all woven into the same borough.

This is the side of Queens I’ll never stop talking about. Not just real estate. The lifestyle behind it.

Details are in the video ✨

Tried something new today in Flushing. My colleague took me to a Taiwanese spot called Four Four South Village and I finally had traditional Taipei beef noodle soup — rich broth, handmade noodles, and one appetizer I still can’t pronounce but would absolutely order again.

This is what I love about Queens. One train stop and you’re somewhere completely different. Different language, different flavors, different stories.

And somewhere between real estate conversations and soup noodles, I was reminded how much this business is also about people. The colleagues who guide you, support you, and make space for you matter more than most talk about.

And this is why people choose Queens.

Good food. Good conversations. Community over dinner in Jackson Heights 🍜✨

Built for professionals—many working in Manhattan—
The Towers was designed with intention.

Eight buildings.
Full-block layout.
Private garden.
Elevators in the 1920s.

And even developer-created transit
to connect residents to the subway.

This wasn’t just housing.
It was strategy.

And this is why people choose Jackson Heights.

Three mural projects. One hospital. Hundreds of stories woven into the walls of Elmhurst Hospital.

This video features the legendary Elmhurst mural by Luis Fernando León — believed to be the longest hospital mural in the country — stretching through the corridors with scenes of healing, migration, resilience, and the many communities that make Queens what it is.

You’ll also see the staircase murals by Carla Torres, bringing color and movement into transitional spaces people walk through every day. And on the rooftop, artwork by Daisy Gertel adds another layer of reflection and humanity above the city noise.

What I love about this project is that it reminds you hospitals are not only places of medicine. They are places of people. Of culture. Of memory. Of survival.

And honestly… this is Queens at its best. Art in public spaces. Stories in multiple languages. Beauty where you least expect it.

Did you know... that Elmhurst Hospital is home to a centuries-spanning "gallery" of public art? 🏥🎨

From the 1930s to today, these walls have told the story of New York’s resilience. Here is a look at the newest chapter: a collaborative mural led by artist Carla Torres .

While the hospital’s historic WPA murals by William Palmer were painted to educate patients, this modern masterpiece was designed to include them. Through the "Arts in Medicine" program, Torres invited healthcare workers and staff to trade their scrubs for aprons, helping to hand-paint a vibrant sanctuary dedicated to self-care and community strength.

It’s more than just decor—it’s a living reminder that healing is a team effort. 🖌️✨

Spring in Queens is different.
The streets open up.
The parks come back to life.
And suddenly, everything feels a little lighter.
It’s the most beautiful time of the year—
not just because of the weather,
but because of everything happening around you.
Food.
Music.
Culture on every corner.
This is when you really feel what makes Queens… Queens.
