🍅 It’s been a while, friends! I’ve missed you all. Listen, we are in the throes of a bitter winter, but that hasn’t stopped me from finding my joy in gardening. I have over 30 plants growing in my Lettuce Grow () tower, several of which are micro dwarf tomato varieties.
There are Mini Marzano (from ) and Orange Hat (from ) tomato bushes in my hydroponic tower that are putting out prolific harvests. I have so many cherry tomatoes that I can’t eat them fast enough, so I’ve decided to can them at their peak ripeness for use in future pasta dishes and soups. Canning makes it possible to have a little taste of summer all year round, and I love that for me.
I used my beloved Weck () for this canning, which I know are unfamiliar to many on this side of The Pond. They’re a little different than using the more common Mason jars, but nothing you can’t adjust to.
