Something I've been building for a while is finally live and running strong.
Velvet Rhythm Radio is a 24/7 internet radio station streaming smooth jazz, classic R&B, blues, and soul. No fillers. Just good music for grown folks. All day.
We have a full DJ roster on air around the clock, a Sunday morning gospel block, a New Orleans brass band show every Sunday afternoon, and a late night quiet storm for those of you who stay up late.
The station website also has an events calendar where you can check out what is happening in and around Jackson, song request and dedication forms, and a music submission portal for independent artists who want to get their music in rotation.
If you have a business and want to reach a grown folks audience, we offer affordable advertising packages starting at $25 a week. On air spots, local production, and sponsorship opportunities are all available.

Epic Funk Brass Band is bringing a powerful, high-energy visual to life for our new record “She’s Dangerous,” and we’re looking for the right people to be part of it.

This is not just a video. This is a cinematic experience with real crowd energy, live performance, and a strong storyline.

• 2 males (mid 20s–40s) for security roles
Strong presence, calm, serious look, no overacting

• 1 male (mid 20s–40s) for a featured role
Must be able to show subtle nervous and tense energy on camera

No acting experience required. Just be able to follow direction and keep it natural.

For years I have had ideas in my head about a different kind of jazz project.

Not just a band, but a producer driven collective where the music blends jazz harmony, modern production, soul, groove, and atmosphere.
