WTWC Update: We are still watching things closely and will stream live again if needed. Right now the worst of the weather seems to have moved down into northwest Alabama. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Lauderdale county in northwest Alabama and it is moving eastward. Just be cautious if you live right near the county line between Hardin and Lauderdale over the next few minutes until the storm moves out of the area.

WTWC Update: A heat advisory will return tomorrow for parts of southwest Tennessee before a nice drop in temperatures to follow. We will have a stormy transition getting to the cooler temperatures tomorrow night. I posted another updated below about the storms tomorrow.

WTWC EARLY ALERT: Severe Threat Rises For Tomorrow: Severe risk tomorrow with a 2% risk of tornadoes, 15% risk of wind damage and 5% hail risk. I put some snapshots of futurecast in for general timing. We will have a few isolated storms late morning into the afternoon tomorrow with the more concentrated storm threat in the late evening and overnight. It looks like a long night ahead tomorrow night into Thursday morning. We'll be here tracking the storms as needed.

WTWC ALERT: We have been put in the marginal or 1 out of 5 severe risk this evening and we are monitoring a severe storm about an hour west of Shelby County. The storm will likely brush through southwest Tennessee within an hour or so. Stay tuned. We also have been put in the severe outlook for Wednesday with part of our viewing area in northwest Tennessee being in the 2 out of 5 risk area and most of our area under a 1 out of 5 risk for Wednesday.
