📢ATTN: STRANGER THINGS FANS!!!

Did you know that Downtown Hawkins (better known as Jackson, GA) is a short country drive from Covington, GA?
Jackson is the filming location to most of Downtown Hawkins from the Netflix series Stranger Things!

Visit Jackson’s Historic Square where you will recognize many of the Stranger Things filming locations including the Public Library, Radio Shack, the General Store, the Alley where Steve and Jonathan fought over Nancy, the Movie Theater and more. You may see the Surfer Boy Pizza van and Hopper’s Police Chief Blazer.

While on the Jackson Square, be sure to visit:

1) Hawkins Headquarters for everything Stranger Things and 80’s including Stranger Things Tours. Tickets for tours are available online at www.strangertours.com.

2) Jackson Escape Games has exciting games that will make you work together with your team and challenge your intellect. They have five escape room games to choose from and four of them have Stranger Things themes. Checkout each game and get tickets online at www.JacksonGaEscapeGames.com. They also have Stranger Things shirts and souvenirs.

3) Lucy Lu’s Coffee Shop and Buddy Blu’s soft served ice cream. Both have Stranger Things items in the menu.

4) Restaurants Mesquite Mexican, Saki Sushi & Steak, Bradley’s Ole Tavern, Goat Island, The Brickery Pizza, Papa John’s Pizza, Wing Depot and many more. Some have Stranger Things menu items.

5) Boutiques around the square have some amazing and unique items; some Stranger Things and 80’s items, so check out Lena Jane’s, Southern Roots, etc.

It’s highly recommended to anyone visiting Georgia to take the short detour and check out Hawkins as well as Mystic Falls. It’s okay to love them both!
