There are simply no words to express how deeply saddened we were to lose the legend himself, Andy Hardwick. His unwavering love of music, jazz and WJSU was felt by us all. Countless musicians have come through our studio doors sharing stories of playing with Andy Hardwick. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially as they prepare to honor his memory Saturday, May 30.

JSU’s Faculty & Staff donned colorful sun dresses 👗, stylish sunglasses 🕶️, and crisp linen outfits on the JSU Tower Lawn during Thursday’s Day Party. While some participated in line-dancing 🕺🏾 💃, others found a shaded spot ⛱️ to enjoy refreshments 🥤 🥐 🍔. Soulful, rhythmic sounds 🎶 kept the vibe flowing as guests posed for photos 📸 to capture the moment.

“Zen Wednesday” provided a wonderful platform for real R&R, including a charming charcuterie board 🫒 🧀, a huge white tent to shield the sun ☀️, soulful music 🎶 to solidify the vibe, soft seating 🛋️ to sink into, mini-massages 💆🏾‍♀️💆🏼 to mellow the mood, and pre-sketched canvases of THEE JSU Tiger 🐅 to paint 🎨 and express yourself. Ahh…how ZENful!
