The Salvation Army teamed up with Atmos Energy on Tuesday for the Energy Assistance Blitz.

In times like these, when many are struggling to make ends meet, it is incumbent upon us, in leadership and in the utility space, to put meaningful support systems in place for the people we serve.

I want to thank Atmos Energy and the The Salvation Army USA for partnering on this important utility assistance program. We've done this before, and today’s event was another clear success. I look forward to continuing this work and building on these efforts to ensure high-quality, reliable utility service is accessible to everyone. 'Keither Stamps

Jackson could be the next Nashville, if the right people invest📈🔥

The potential is undeniable! Jackson, Mississippi has the soul, the sound, the flavor, and a new generation ready to rewrite the narrative.

From deep musical roots and iconic blues legends to a food scene that’s bursting with Southern creativity — Jackson is more than ready. All it needs now is the right eyes, the right minds, and the right investors to believe in what’s already here.

📍The culture is rich.
🎶 The talent is homegrown.
🔥 The hunger to build is real.

If cities like Nashville and Austin rose from vision and investment, who’s to say Jackson can’t be next❔

Outage update:

We’ve been informed that approximately 175 residential and commercial customers in downtown Jackson will experience a power outage beginning Thursday, July 24 at 2 p.m. in order for EML to make emergency repairs to underground circuits in the area. The affected area is between Amite and Pascagoula streets to the north and south and between Mill and Lamar streets to the east and west. The outage is necessary for workers to safely access underground equipment, to prevent further damage to the electrical grid and to minimize the duration of the outage.

I’ll continue to share updates as we receive them.
