Tuesday, November 11, 2025, will be NTI Day #1 (Non-Traditional Instruction Day) for our students and staff. There will be no in-person classes on this day.

We ask all students to fully participate in their scheduled classes and complete all assigned work. Your engagement is essential.

Since it will be a cool Friday evening, why not come out to BINGO. Enjoy the EPT Charitable gaming machines, play paper pull tabs, enjoy BINGO, get a hot cup of coffee or enjoy the dinner special of Home made Vegetable Soup, and some sweet treats with a cold drink.
With 50 players, we will have a $500 jackpot, 8- $100 games, and 2- $250 games.If more than 50 players, more payout.

As the we are approaching winter time we would like to remind everyone to check their smoke alarms to ensure they are working properly. If you live within the city limits and need some, we have smoke detectors available for installation courtesy of the American Red Cross. To schedule an installation call the station at 666-9000.

We would like to ask everyone in town to decorate for the Downtown Christmas Parade this year to help make it better each year!
We would also love some donations of candy to give out during the parade if anyone has a giving heart this season!

Welcome to the Team, Officer Glen Combs!

The Jackson Police Department is proud to welcome Glen Combs as our newest School Resource Officer!

Officer Combs brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served with the Jackson Police Department in the early 1990s before joining the Kentucky State Police, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring.

We’re excited to have him back with JPD and serving our community once again. Officer Combs will be stationed at Highland-Turner Elementary, helping ensure a safe and supportive environment for students and staff.
