Same time next year?📰

For The Reflector’s staff, Oct. 8 was spent learning valuable writing, design, and photography skills, exploring journalism, and creating unforgettable memories together. Concluding with a visit to Michigan’s Capitol, this year’s trip to the MIPA conference was a success! 🧡🖤

Homecoming is a cornerstone of the classic highschool experience——and for seniors Syria Coleman and Tyshon, it was a moment they’ll never forget.

Crowned under the Friday Night Lights of September 26’s Homecoming Game, Coleman and Gray were recognized as embodiments of the pride, leadership, and resilience of a true Viking. Both seniors reflected on their journeys, honoring their younger selves——once much more quiet and introverted than now——who never imagined they’d one day be standing as Homecoming royalty.

Congratulations to Tyshon and Syria, not only for earning their crowns——but for growing into strong leaders who reflect the heart and spirit of our school. 🧡🖤
