Affordable housing should also mean safe, livable housing, fair treatment, privacy, and accountability. When we strengthen housing opportunities and protect responsible renters and property owners alike, we strengthen our families and our communities.

Our children deserve better, education matters.

Every child deserves access to a quality education, safe schools, and opportunities that prepare them for success. Strong schools create stronger communities, but too many students and teachers are being asked to do more with fewer resources.

We must invest in our classrooms, support our educators, and ensure that every child in District 70 has the tools they need to succeed.

I’m Marcus Cheatham.

For 31 years, I had the privilege of serving our nation in the United States Army, retiring as a Colonel after a career built on leadership, discipline, and putting people before self.

Today, I’m answering another call to serve—right here at home.

District 70 deserves a representative who will listen, lead with integrity, and work tirelessly to deliver real results for our families, our schools, our neighborhoods, and our future.
