Jackson, MS is the new "Chocolate City". Its a vibrant city full of great people: artists, creatives, entrepreneurs etc. Its hallowed ground!

Mississippi is the birthplace of America's music and the cradle of civilization for Black folks in this country! Its not "rising" it has BEEN the sh*t! It doesnt need "saving" either. Stop listening to these disgusting content creators who ride around looking to monetize their pages off of Jackson "trauma". They need a better group of friends who can actually show them the greatness of this city!

We have the SAME challenges ANY growing metropolitan Southern city has. Dont believe that hype! HOLD YOUR DAMN HEAD UP! Its a Po Dawg that wont wag its own tail!

In today's edition of "white people: STOP DOING THAT SH*T!" Stop telling Black people to not identify by the melanin in our skin. The majority of us...not the coons...are proud to be Black. Proud of our Black skin. And identify with our Blackness. Telling us to do the opposite diminishes who we are...and it allows you to dismiss our presence in these spaces.

We dont have the luxury or privilege of our skin color being the default mode for the world. Dont let MY pride intimidate you so much. Just leave us the hell alone.

Its annoying, condescending, and itll get you cussed out. Find something better to do and learn to stay out of Black folks business.

My music isnt for everyone. It resonates EXACTLY with the crowd I want it too. So no thank you...my subject matter will always stay the same. Its about Revolution, Liberation, and making lyrics matter again. AND making YOU as uncomfortable as possible.

We CAN turn Mississippi Blue! Its not as impossible as it once sounded. Lets keep up the momentum! And lets match the energy in the music. MS ARTISTS! MISSISSIPPI NEEDS YOU TO SPEAK UP! TO BE VOCAL! TO BE REVOLUTIONARY!

Hip Hop has never been a hustle to me. Its been a lifestyle. A lot of yall reading this weren't even born yet! This is 1993! ....This is vintage Stewpot Stowaways. "Check It Out". Our single dropped on label "Finesse Records". He was the only one in the city who believed in that "hip hop sh*t" we were doing enough to put some money behind it. We were some young, slim head, kids off the campus of JSU with rap dreams. Our crew spawned Crooked Lettaz and + MORE!

We shot this at crib out in Pine Trials Apartments (Clinton, MS). We were gonna send it to BET's Home Jams but that contract looked suspect. 🤣🤣🤣.

32 years later...Im about to drop more music. WOW!
