“Hello.
This is INB100.
We would like to inform you of the current status of legal actions being taken regarding the dissemination of false information and malicious posts related to .
Based on monitoring data independently collected over time, as well as reports submitted by fans, we have proceeded with formal criminal complaints to investigative authorities.
This case involves the application of multiple charges, including violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation), insult, and violations of laws concerning the punishment of stalking crimes, among others.
Some cases have already resulted in meaningful legal judgments, and the remaining cases are also being strictly pursued in accordance with legal procedures.
We would like to share the key progress updates to date as follows:
• April 2025: Complaint filed with Gwangjin Police Station, Seoul – suspect identified and sent to the prosecution
• May 2025: Complaint filed with Gangnam Police Station, Seoul – investigation currently in progress
• September 2025: Complaint filed with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Cyber Investigation Unit – investigation currently in progress
Please note that the complaint and investigation processes may take some time. However, if there are any meaningful developments, we will share them with fans as promptly as possible.
Regardless of whether formal complaints are ongoing, internal monitoring is being conducted at all times, and reports submitted by fans will continue to be reviewed and utilized as legal response materials.
