Happy Feast of the Exaltation of The Cross.

The cross also speaks of you.

We all have crosses… problems, weaknesses, and disappointments. Faith teaches us to not bear it alone. Each cross is an invitation: Opening space for God in what is heaviest. The cross reminds us that real Love always implies self giving… but that giving of the self is never in vain. What looks like failure, in the hands of Christ becomes new life.

Today look at the cross and say: Jesus, show me to embrace my cross with you.

🌍✨ Calling all families! Are your teens ready for an adventure of faith, friendship, and fun? World Youth Day is a global gathering of young Catholics from around the world, celebrating Christ through prayer, music, and community.

We’re excited to start planning our group trip, and want to make sure we include you in our plans. It will take place around August 3rd-8th 2027. The estimated cost is around $4,000 per participant.

Todays Gospel:

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray,
will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills
and go in search of the stray?
And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it
than over the ninety-nine that did not stray.
In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father
that one of these little ones be lost."

In today’s Gospel, Jesus teaches us that true greatness comes from humility and childlike trust. He reminds us that every person, especially the “little ones,” holds a special place in God’s heart.

The story of the lost sheep shows God’s endless love and how He seeks out each one of us when we wander.

May we be inspired to care for those around us with kindness and to trust in God’s loving care for each of us.

Our mission is simple: Equip youth to walk with Jesus, guide them with the example of Mary, and unite them in a parish community where they belong, serve, and grow.

We cannot do this without committed adults who will pray for our teens, walk beside them in their faith, and live as examples of discipleship.
