Postal employees saw cameras and completely lost it.

They called 911, locked the doors during business hours, stopped customers from entering, and one employee allegedly shoved an auditor.

Then police showed up and confirmed what should have been obvious from the start: the public lobby is public, Poster 7 exists for a reason, and cameras don’t magically become illegal because employees feel uncomfortable.

This is exactly why we record.

Prison calls COPS on 1A Auditor for Video Recording

They called deputies because I was recording near an Escambia County facility.
The call came in as trespassing.

But the deputy said public areas are public, there was no crime, and recording from where you’re legally allowed to be is protected.

Public road. Public camera. Public rights.
