Road to 10k Challenge! 🚙🍕
Happy September! With a new month ahead of us, I wanted to challenge myself to accomplish a goal I’ve been meaning to accomplish for a long time, getting my family’s restaurants page Mama’s Pizza & Grill | Jax Pizza Spot 😋🍕 to 10k followers. 🏆
This is definitely a personal goal of mine, and want to emphasize that followers do NOT necessarily mean success, unless you have the ENGAGEMENT. And that is the bigger purpose of this goal, to engage with our customers online again!
Sometimes we tend to push things aside for “later” and that later comes in a very long time 😅 What is the foundation of how Social Feeds was born, wasn’t being nurtured for some time but that changes TODAY.
The reason I’m posting this challenge is first, to keep me accountable to push forward. But secondly and most importantly, to remind restaurants how POWERFUL social media can be for a business when used STRATEGICALLY.❗️
I know times are tough for a lot of our local businesses here in Jax, and just want to remind restaurants that it all starts with 1 post. Paid ads and collabs are very effective, but they should never be your only marketing strategy. ❗️One thing I ALWAYS tell my restaurant clients is the importance to keep posting, even after going viral.❗️
It’s definitely not easy, but we have such a privilege to say that everyone has access to a free marketing platform. It gives every business an equal the opportunity to grow whether you’re on a budget and challenge yourself to do it yourself, or you hire someone to do it for you. 🤳
