✨ The Ohana Experience is Expanding!

After our Ohana Experience movie social sold out, I felt the tug to go even further.

This summer, I’m taking that same confidence-building experience into downtown Jax for girls who couldn’t attend because no girl should miss this.
It’s a two-part summer workshop:

Part 1: The Ohana Experience
4 weeks on identity, sisterhood, and healthy habits.

Part 2: The Crown You Wear
4 weeks with hands-on hair demos (on mannequins) and self-esteem.

Hosting the Ohana Experience took a big leap of faith.

But honestly? My whole life has been a series of leaps; trusting God, again and again, as He builds something beautiful in me, my family, and this business.

Something beautiful happened over the weekend…

Two amazing moms who aren’t able to attend the Ohana Experience with their daughters decided to sponsor FOUR girls to come in their place.

Talk about Ohana! 💛

Their generosity reminded me of the heart behind this event:
No Konfident Girl Left Behind.

As we get closer to Saturday, there are still a few girls who would love to attend but may not be able to, whether it’s due to the cost of sending multiple daughters or unexpected challenges at home. I would love to bless those mamas with exciting news that their Konfident Girl gets to go!

Four years ago, I picked up a comb and braided my first client as a business owner..

What began as a talent quickly turned into a passion. And over time, it became a calling. Becoming your braider has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I’ve loved every moment, from growing as a stylist and business owner to connecting with your beautiful daughters in my chair. Every style held a deeper purpose: building their confidence, one braid at a time.

Many of you know that alongside this journey, I had also pursued a degree in Social Work. If we had a chance to talk during your daughter’s appointment, you may have heard why that degree meant so much to me. It’s always been my dream to merge both of my passions — hairstyling and healing — into one mission.

Now that moment is here..

The Konfident Girl Ohana Experience is more than just a movie day — it’s a celebration of the sisterhood, joy, confidence, and special bond so many of us have built together. For the first time, I get to step out from behind the chair and be fully present — leading the girls in fun, affirming activities that continue the confidence work we started in the salon!

Its Good Friday!

Today is Good Friday, a sacred day for many of us as we remember the incredible love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. If you are observing with a day off work or even quiet time in prayer, I pray it brings you peace, reflection, and renewed hope.

If you don’t have plans for Easter Sunday or haven’t been invited to a church service — consider this your personal invitation!
