My Birthday Is Coming!!
My birthday is on this Thursday the 12th and to celebrate I’m getting back to a thing I had been doing pretty consistently for some years and that’s by being paying It forward. I’m not rich (yet 🙏🏾🙌🏾) but I’m certainly blessed, so here is the ask. I seeking 100 people to send me $41 in significance to me turning 41 this year. If you can send that amount GREAT. If you can’t and want to send a lesser amount, please do!! Every gift and the thought behind it are significant to me. I’ve noticed something over the last 2-3 years. It’s weird to me how a lot of us frame and approach support. A person can put a post out sayin “Hey everyone!! Donate $10 to this cause or initiate I have” and I will see people laugh, get angry or even take offense to the person asking directly for money but same said person can put on a show or event and folks will buy a ticket to the show, get hair taken care of, possibly bout a fit or some accessories, put gas in your vehicle and then buy food and beverage, all to post a pic and say I supported!! They ain’t wild to y’all to spend $100 instead of giving the $10?! I just hate that so many people want to be associated with people and things that they aren’t willing to invest into ACTUALLY!!
