Races For This Friday July 25th have been cancelled and moved to a new date. We will race the same classes on Friday August 29th when we were scheduled to be off.

As most of you know, most everything related to the Speedway is removed during the Morgan County Fair to make room some big events and concerts that make it the best County Fair in Illinois. It's always a rush to get the Speedway back in order after the fair to return to racing.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature hasn't cooperated. We had planned on two full workdays this weekend to make some significant progress. Unfortunately early last week not much could happen on account of Sunday's 2 inch downpour and then yesterdays unexpected flooding made it too wet to even get across the horse track this weekend - let alone put all of the parts and pieces back together. There's just no way at this point the time is available to make a functional race track back out of it by this Friday.

We are adding a date on Friday August 29th and will race the same classes that were scheduled for this Friday (410 Sprints, 305 Sprints, Street Stocks, Micros, Sportsman). Thanks for your understanding! We will be back racing on Sunday August 10th.
