A product of his environment
By Yolanda Williams

What choices that we make to be great
Just do whatever it takes
Real becomes something that is diluted with fake promises of a good ending

His beginning from a boy to a man
Let us stand to the sun
With questions about the culture and its impact
Can we imagine the impact
Drugs and s*x and yet
The environment is set

Becoming the heart of his world
Passionate and yet deadly with an offset
His past and a habit
To remember what was and what needs to be

A product of his environment
He is indeed the heart of the game
All the lies and the shame
Who do we blame
Why can’t we aim

To what is important in this life
Love and joy
Not mentalities of being rich with no plan
But to stand with ingenuity

He is the core of the world
Made from his rib but
What can he give

His heart for random
Handsome and true
A product of beauty
To what is the continuity

Fame for destruction
Money for attention
What is it that we are missing

The sound of a warrior
The hunger for the power
A product of
wealth
He carries it under his belt

New book alert…

SYNOPSIS:
It was unclear if love lived inside of Charles Haxelton’s heart but Yalisa had the answer. His body language spoke volumes of affection and his words were like a running wave of water . Calming as the sea but also a bottomless pit of uncertainties. Will Mr. Haxelton’s words and actions form a foundation for love? Will Yalisa find herself listening to the innuendo leading her to a dead end or will two hearts beat as one?

Gracefully
By Yolanda Williams

Dem 20's was a struggle for me
I wanted to see what did not concern me
In my 30's the hurry to wait
Had to fall on my face to embrace the wait

Dem 20's had no pace
Oh, but grace!
It allowed me to face
The issues that I refuse to include

Obnoxious, confuse and rude
I had to lose to improve
No longer in the room (elephant )

With phony people wanting benefits
Discussing things to bring change
I call on Jesus's name

Oh, the san-i-ty
The relief to know that I have peace

~

I WAS AT A FOLK IN THE ROAD...NATURALLY! THE FEAR AND THE CONFUSION BUILT DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY TOWARDS THE TWO PATHS AHEAD OF ME... A DECISION TO NEVER LEAVE THE WOMAN IN THE MIRROR...MENTALITY! I WAS LOSING MYSELF...PHYSICALLY! I HAD TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT MYSELF AND KNOW THAT I WAS GIVEN POWER...PEACE!

A book press release is designed to showcase you and your book and attract as much media interest as possible. It is not a summary of your book. Instead, it uses newsworthy angles to show the media — including newspaper, magazine, television, radio, online, and blog contacts — why they should be interested in you and your book.

Once you complete and submit a short questionnaire, we’ll deliver an AP-style document in the format media contacts expect. And just to help you get started, we’ll also send you a tip sheet on how to use a press release. You’re then free to use the press release in variety of ways to attract attention and generate interest.

You'll get results when you place your press release on:

•Your website
•Blog
•Social media outlets
•Amazon Author Page
•Any other venue for showcasing your book!

The Last Piece
By Yolanda Williams

Long winter short summer
No need to ponder
I see the numbers
What it is under?

Wonderful slumber
Refresh to select
Respect the process (peace)
