According to warrants obtained by WITN, a teenager is facing multiple charges after being found with a stolen gun at a downtown parking lot owned by East Carolina University.

Warrants say 18-year-old Jeremiah McNair was arrested Sunday after having a G***k 9mm handgun at the ECU parking lot on the corner of 4th Street and Reade Circle. According to the warrants, the gun was stolen.

The Goldsboro man was charged by Greenville police with possession of a stolen firearm, gun on educational property, carrying a concealed gun, and possession of ma*****na up to 1/2 ounce.

McNair is under a $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in the Pitt County Courthouse on Monday at 1:30 p.m.

**Jacksonville Man Charged with Kidnapping and Indecent Liberties Involving Runaway Teen**

A Jacksonville man is facing multiple serious charges after allegedly kidnapping a teenage girl. Troy Swinson, 25, has been charged with second-degree kidnapping, soliciting a child by computer, indecent liberties with a child, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

According to law enforcement officials, the police discovered the runaway teenager with Swinson at Charleston Place Apartments late last night. It is reported that the two met via a phone application and arranged to meet in person.

Swinson is currently being held in jail on a $30,000 bond. If he is released, court records indicate he is prohibited from having any contact with the victim. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to look into the circumstances surrounding this case.
