Elvis purchased this airplane in 1975 and he named it after his daughter, Lisa Marie. He also nicknamed the airplane, "Flying Graceland." He decorated and customized , the inside of the plane after the purchase . The customization costed over $800,000. There was a queen bed in a private bedroom that had a pull out desk for Elvis to read at. For those who didn't know, he was an avid reader. The plane consisted of, Suede chairs, gold plated seatbelt buckles, and leather tables. The sink was even made of 24 karat gold flakes. It had multiple tvs throughout, an 8 track system, a conference room, a sitting room, two half baths and a, Sky to ground phone system. The first time he flew in this plane, it was when he did a concert in Vegas. He was set to be there for, 2 weeks. It is said that , one of his fondest memories in the plane was when he flew out to Colorado to take his daughter to play in the snow. She had never seen a real snow before and it was nothing to take her out there and return later to Graceland later on. I also remember hearing about Little Lisa Marie, celebrating her birthday, one year in the sky. On this plane, they had birthday cake around the conference table.

Happy Birthday Elvis! I put a little collection together with some of my favorite pictures of Graceland. Graceland was a mesmerizing experience. I definitely recommend it, but please give yourself plenty of time to actually look and enjoy everything. At least 2 days.. This is only a very small percentage of the photos I took during my visit there.

Who doesn't love driving around looking at Christmas lights? It always lifts my spirits. I think everyone should hang them. lol .

My oldest son Logan gave me my, Christmas gift a few nights ago. He insisted I have it early because, he wanted me to enjoy it  before I had to put all my decorations away. I absolutely LOVE it!!

I have collected nutcrackers since I was a little girl but, I have never had one this big or as beautiful. I love it so much. Thank you Logan. 🎄🎁
