🌟✨ Zero HIV Stigma Day ✨🌟

Yesterday, we joined the global movement to eradicate HIV stigma! Zero HIV Stigma Day, observed on July 21st, unites people, communities, organizations, and countries to raise awareness and take decisive action against the stigma that continues to fuel the HIV pandemic and related inequalities.

Despite remarkable advancements in HIV prevention and care, stigma still casts a long shadow, impacting countless lives. This day, a joint initiative by NAZ and IAPAC in collaboration with the Global HIV Collaborative and Fast-Track Cities Institute, is dedicated to challenging these negative attitudes and behaviors towards people living with or at risk of HIV.

Let's honor Prudence Mabele, the first Black South African woman to publicly share her HIV status, and amplify the message that together, we can break the chains of stigma.

Join us in spreading awareness and fostering a world free of HIV stigma. 💪❤️

At Beyond Health Network, we are committed to highlighting health news across the United States by raising awareness about critical health issues. This July, we're spotlighting HIV stigma and viral hepatitis.

🗓 Zero HIV Stigma Day (7/21): Join us on July 21st as we put a spotlight eliminating HIV stigma. Educate yourself and your community with resources from the CDC, including personal stories and a comprehensive social media toolkit. Let's challenge HIV stigma together!

🗓 World Hepatitis Day (7/28): On July 28th, we unite with the World Hepatitis Alliance to raise awareness about viral hepatitis. Access campaign materials and essential information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to promote screening and protection against Hepatitis B and C.
