Keke Wyatt is pushing back on some of the most serious reports surrounding her recent Georgia arrest.

Wyatt was booked in Henry County on September 20, and sheriff's-office information reported by news outlets connected the booking to allegations including assault, terroristic threats and child cruelty. But Wyatt's representatives say the court documentation currently reflects only one charge: simple assault.

Her team specifically denies that Wyatt was charged with cruelty to children, terroristic threats and acts, or aggravated assault.

That's an important distinction: booking information and the charge ultimately reflected in a court case aren't necessarily the same thing. Available reporting has not yet established exactly why the records being cited differ.

For now, Keke's arrest is confirmed—but the exact charges need to be reported carefully while that discrepancy remains unresolved.

Buddy Hield might need to keep the moving boxes packed. 😭🏀

The Chicago Bulls have officially acquired Hield and cash from Charlotte in exchange for Rob Dillingham.

Here's the crazy part: Charlotte had Buddy for only five days.

Atlanta traded Hield to the Hornets on September 22. Charlotte turned around and sent him to Chicago on September 27. Earlier this year, Golden State had already traded him to Atlanta.

So during 2026 alone:

Warriors → Hawks → Hornets → Bulls.

Chicago gets a veteran shooter who has hit 39.5% of his threes over his NBA career, while Charlotte gets 21-year-old Dillingham, the former No. 8 overall pick.

At this point Buddy might as well rent instead of buy. 😂

Who got the better end of this deal?

Rick Ross is facing a serious allegation from his former girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick.

Kendrick took to Instagram Stories on September 27 and accused Ross of physically abusing her during their relationship, sharing photos of an injured lip that she says came from an alleged incident involving the rapper.

In one of the posts, Kendrick said Ross saw her as a ‘punching bag.’ She also said the day her lip was injured was the day she left.

Important context: these are Kendrick's allegations. The photos do not independently establish who caused the injury, and the posts reviewed by news outlets did not specify exactly when or where the alleged incident occurred.

As of the reporting reviewed, Ross had not publicly responded to the allegations.

We'll update the story if Ross or his representatives respond or if additional independently verifiable information becomes available.

The Bucs just got a major Baker Mayfield injury scare—and it's his throwing hand. 🏈

Mayfield dislocated his right thumb late in Tampa Bay's 23–16 loss to Minnesota on Sunday, according to head coach Todd Bowles.

The injury happened on a fourth-down play late in the fourth quarter when Mayfield was hit while attempting a pass. He immediately grabbed his hand and eventually went back to the locker room.

There is some good news: X-rays showed no fracture.

But this isn't settled yet.

Bowles said Mayfield will undergo an MRI Monday, and there is currently no confirmed timetable for how long—or whether—he'll be sidelined.

That's a big question for Tampa Bay after committing three years and $165 million to Mayfield before this season.

Now all eyes are on that MRI.

The NFL's first-ever game in Rio came down to three points. 🇧🇷🏈

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Dallas Cowboys 34–31 Sunday at Maracanã Stadium, becoming the first winner of an NFL regular-season game played in Rio de Janeiro.

Baltimore had Derrick Henry finding the end zone twice, while Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense did enough to stay ahead of a Dallas team that kept fighting into the fourth quarter.

The win moves Baltimore to 2–1, while Dallas drops to 1–2.

But the bigger picture is what happened around the game.

The NFL brought two of its biggest brands into Brazil's iconic Maracanã Stadium, with Ricky Martin and Brazilian star Pedro Sampaio also part of the halftime festivities.

Rio officially has its first NFL game in the books.

Teyana Taylor and Lucky Daye just walked away with one of the biggest trophies of the night. 🏆

Their collaboration “Hard Part” won Video of the Year at the 2026 MTV VMAs on September 27 in Los Angeles.

For Teyana, the win hits a little different.

Her career has never just been about being in front of the camera. She's built a name around choreography, directing, fashion and visual storytelling alongside the music—so taking home Video of the Year puts a spotlight on a side of her artistry she's been developing for years.

And Lucky Daye adds another major moment to an R&B run that's continued to grow.

The VMAs were hosted by Snoop Dogg and featured one of the year's biggest music-industry lineups.

Do y'all think “Hard Part” deserved Video of the Year?

Imagine getting arrested and telling police “You have the wrong twin” — then your identical twin gets on the phone and reportedly tells them the same thing.

A Washington, D.C., woman is now suing over what she says happened to her.

Makia Gorham says police arrested her in September 2025 for an alleged assault that actually involved her identical twin sister.

According to her newly filed lawsuit, Gorham's family repeatedly told officers they had the wrong woman. Her brother even called her twin, who reportedly spoke with an officer while police were still at the house.

Gorham says they arrested her anyway.

Her lawsuit alleges investigators missed multiple warning signs before the arrest. Gorham says she ultimately spent the night in custody, and the criminal case remained open for about two months before prosecutors dropped the charges.

The lawsuit seeks damages for claims including false arrest and malicious prosecution.

Important: these are allegations in an ongoing civil case. D.C. police and the city's attorney general's office declined to comment on the lawsuit because litigation is pending.

But this is a crazy identification problem: If police know someone has an identical twin, what should they be required to verify before making the arrest?

🦟 Florida is stepping up its response to dengue fever.

Pasco County has confirmed 3 locally contracted dengue cases after declaring a local state of emergency as officials work to limit the spread of the mosquito-borne virus.

And Pasco isn't alone. Hillsborough and Pinellas counties have also declared local emergencies as dengue cases rise across the Tampa Bay region.

The declaration doesn't mean lockdowns or restrictions for residents. It gives county officials more flexibility to move quickly, support mosquito-control operations and respond to the public-health threat.

Health officials are urging residents to dump standing water around their homes and take precautions against mosquito bites.

Florida folks: have the mosquitoes seemed worse than usual where you live?
