According to Your Faith

“Then He touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you.’” Matthew 9:29



There’s a secret Jesus revealed, one that unlocks the resources of heaven. It’s simple, yet powerful: “According to your faith, let it be done to you.” You might often hear people say, “Well, maybe it’s not God’s will,” when they don’t see a breakthrough. But Jesus didn’t say, “According to My will.” He said, “According to your faith.” That’s not to diminish God’s sovereignty. He is sovereign.



God has chosen faith as the pathway to receive His promises.



So, pause and ask yourself: Do you believe He is able? That’s the first step. You must believe that God can. Can He heal? Can He restore? Can He provide? Can He save the loved one you’ve been praying for? The answer is a resounding yes. You must settle this in your heart. God is able. The Bible says, “He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6) He rewards faith. He responds to those who believe He is who He says He is.



But there’s a second question you must answer in your heart: Do you believe He is willing? In Matthew 8:2-3, a man with leprosy approached Jesus and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” And Jesus replied with three powerful words: “I am willing.” Those words silence every doubt. Jesus never turned anyone away who came to Him for healing. He never once said, “It’s not my will.” If you want to know the will of God, look at Jesus, because He did the will of the Father perfectly. So if Jesus said “I will,” then you can be confident today that God is both able and willing.



Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Yesterday, He created humanity in health and blessing. Today, He still heals, restores, and saves. And one day, He will give you a glorified body and eternal life with no more suffering. So don’t wonder about the goodness of God. Stand on His Word. When the enemy tries to steal your peace, health, family, or purpose, stand firm in faith. Remember what Jesus said: “The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Let the Word fill you so deeply that when the enemy attacks, you don’t fall apart. Let the truth of God’s goodness anchor your soul. Your Father is able. He is willing. And He is for you!
