Notes from the Editor’s Desk ☕️🍂

Today’s agenda is rather ambitious: finishing pages for the fall issue, collecting final submissions, confirming our autumn event coverage, and finalizing a tea-party catering menu.

Fortunately, the first taste of fall has arrived—and I firmly believe a seasonal coffee and pumpkin muffin make an unreasonable to-do list feel considerably more civilized.

Behind every polished issue are countless little notes, late edits, local discoveries, and ideas waiting to become pages. The Autumn Issue of Jacksonville Society Paper is taking shape, and she is going to be lovely.

Hey Jacksonville !

I’m the founder and editor of Jacksonville Society Paper, a local magazine created to celebrate the people, creativity, and charm of our community.

We’re currently gathering fall-inspired features for our upcoming issue, and we would love to include contributions from local families and creatives. We’re looking for:

Fall porch and home décor

Fall fashion and family photos

Favorite fall recipes

Pumpkin patch and seasonal outing photos

Fall poetry, personal stories, and creative writing

If you’re a writer, we also have a few remaining spots available for article submissions.

A new coffee shop has just arrived in jacksonville nc across from our city's mall. The coffee & Pastries were soo good! I especially loved the ambiance the whole layout and luxurious atmosphere! A definite must visit !

Jacksonville, we’re opening a few new contributor spots for our upcoming Fall Magazine Issue. 🍂

We’re thoughtfully selecting up to 10 local creatives from different niches to share their voices, stories, recommendations, photography, and perspectives within the pages of Jacksonville Society Paper.

We’re looking for:

📸 Photography and visual art
👗 Fashion, beauty and culture
🏡 Community, family and lifestyle stories
💼 Business and entrepreneurship features
📚 Education and local perspectives

You do not have to be an established writer or professional creative. We’re interested in thoughtful ideas, original perspectives, and the stories that make Jacksonville feel like home.
