Why you mad bro
Is your life moving too slow
Why are you running away
What did Jesus say
You know you heard His voice
Yes He did give you a choice
But funny how you blame Him
For all of your own sin
He didn’t make you do that which He hated
He just watched you and waited
Hoping that the morals He shared
Would help you to be spared
God gave you Jesus because He cared
He cared enough to get you prepared
He sent angels because He saw you were scared
Yet like a child you took it all for granted
You didn’t let that seed get planted
You ripped it all up to shreds
Instead you grabbed ahold of those meds
Like a pill can really save you
This world keeps lying but you still think it is true
Drowning in a pit of despair
Waiting for someone to pay your fare
Yes God already paid it all
So you could stand tall
No matter how horrible life may feel
He didn’t let the enemy steal
The one thing that matters the most
God gave you the Holy Ghost
Not so you can brag and feel special
But so you could be a vessel
A person broke torn to pieces
So others can receive what God teaches
A life abundantly served
So everyone else could observe
That your life has been restored
God always had for you a great reward
Yes your storms have come and gone
But God has protected you like a baby fawn
Call me names and put me down
But my God still holds my crown
Ready to receive what He has for me
I thank you Lord for setting me free 🙏

Walking Kristeen through to the end of her life was the most rewarding for me. I gave her 3 years of being her hands and feet. She adored me for it. It unlocked another level of love and appreciation for both of us that I think many don’t know exists.

As I sit here wondering where you are
I can’t feel you, how did we get this far

I thought everything was amazing
But then there was this one thing

How do I get back right with You
How do I find again the truth

All that I learned tossed aside
For what I thought was a perfect ride

Signs of wonders all around
Yet I just stared at the ground

What is next in this round of life
All I find is day after day of strife

I’m in need of a Savior
One that can do me a huge favor

Take what’s left of me
Bend me
Mold me
Set me free

Don’t torture me with silence
Kick me off this fence

Your word says hot or cold
Don’t be that bold

Lukewarm is not the place to be
Or You shall spit me out into the sea

Imagine a place of warmth where I could rest
I always promise to give my best

Yet I fell far away
I said not today
Maybe another day
Do I really have to say

Lord teach me again Your way
Tell me that You will stay

I lay here all alone
Waiting for this stone

To cry out Holy Holy Holy is He
Because my lips remained sealed as can be

Lead me not into temptation
Help open the eyes of this nation

Start with me again
Help me to begin

Back from the start if I must
To regain thine trust

That I allowed to be torn apart
