Thirty days ago, I left the U.S. at 52.

Not because everything was falling apart…
but because something in my life just didn’t feel right anymore.

On the outside, things looked stable.
But internally, I felt like I was maintaining a life more than actually living it.

The past 30 days have been… a lot.

Some things have been easier than I expected.
Some things have humbled me quickly.

But more than anything, it’s made me realize how important it is to get honest with yourself before making a big move like this.

Not just where you want to go…
but why you want to leave in the first place.

I’m still figuring things out, but I feel more present than I have in a long time.

Curious…

Thirty days ago… I landed in Albania with four suitcases and a decision I couldn’t fully explain to anyone but myself.

I didn’t have everything figured out.
I didn’t have certainty.
But I had a feeling I couldn’t ignore.

And now, 30 days in…
I’m starting to understand what that feeling was.

It wasn’t about escaping.
It wasn’t about starting over perfectly.

It was about giving myself permission to choose a different life… even if I didn’t know exactly what it would look like yet.

There have been quiet moments here.
Moments where everything feels unfamiliar.
Moments where I’ve had to sit with myself in a way I never had before.

But there have also been moments of peace…
The kind that doesn’t come from everything being “right”
—but from finally being honest with myself.

I’m not fully settled.
I’m not fully certain.

But I feel something I haven’t felt in a long time…

I feel present.
I feel open.
I feel like I’m becoming someone new — without losing who I’ve always been.

Thirty days isn’t a transformation story.
It’s just the beginning.

And for the first time in a long time…
I’m okay with not rushing what comes next 💛
