Did you know Peggy Lee co-wrote, sang, and voiced multiple characters in the Disney film, Lady and the Tramp? She sang both parts to Si and Am (the troublesome cats) overlaying the harmonies on 1955 tech, she voiced Darling (the mom), and Peg (the pound dog who sings "He's a Tramp").

Its 🔥 HOT🔥 outside and the pavement and sidewalks are burning your pets feet

"Hey, human moms and dads—here’s what happens to my paws when you take me out in the blazing sun ☀️ and the pavement is scorching! I sweat through my paws, and when it's this hot, I can't cool off because my paws are burning. Skipping a walk won’t hurt me—let me chill inside and take me out once the sun goes down." 🐾
If you spot someone walking their dog on hot pavement, kindly suggest they try it barefoot for the rest of the way. They might just understand how much it hurts.

Charlie Daniels died five years ago today, on July 6, 2020.

During his 83 years on this Earth, Charlie became known as an outstanding performer, skilled fiddle player, and devoted patriot. You'd be hard-pressed to find a country music fan who doesn't know his greatest hits, such as "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and "Long Haired Country Boy."

Charlie was recognized with inductions into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame, the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Thankfully, he lived to receive all of those honors.

Today, we honor Charlie Daniels, his music, and everything he stood for. He's so dearly missed. 💔
