🚨MVA UPDATE🚨

On November 17, 2025, at 8:08AM, Officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to the intersection of Cole Avenue at Whitehill Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident where a four-year-old child had been struck by a Panama Central School District school bus. Officers were in the area and upon arrival attempted to render first aid.

The child was transported to UPMC Chautauqua where she unfortunately died as a result of her injuries. The Jamestown Police Department along with assistance from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team and New York State Police are still actively investigating the incident.

On November 12, 2025, around 10:00am. officers of the Town of Ellicott Police Department were dispatched to a report of a male and a female assaulting a tow truck driver that was attempting to repossess their vehicle. Through investigation, it was found that Samantha Harley (31F) and Kody Scott (19M) engaged in a physical altercation with the driver. Harley attempted to strike the driver with a vehicle and Scott had pulled out a large knife on the driver as well. Officers located the duo a short time later and performed a search of their person where they were both found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected drugs.

As a result, Harley was charged with Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, Harassment in the 2nd Degree, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, 3 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. Scott was charged with Menacing in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, and 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. Both were transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment, and they will be due to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.

On November 6, 2025, around 11:00 p.m., officers of the Jamestown Police Department were called to the department for a report of a past tense domestic incident involving Kyier R. Johnson. Through investigation, officers determined that Johnson entered a family member’s home where he was not permitted and engaged in a verbal altercation with the homeowner. A female victim had arrived to pick up her child, and Johnson
allegedly displayed a firearm, menacing her while in close proximity to the child.

Both victims left and reported the incident, leading to arrest warrants being issued for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Menacing in the 2nd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. On November 12, 2025, at approximately 11:12 a.m., the Jamestown Public School Resource Officer and Principal observed Johnson on school property, where he is enrolled as a student. Johnson was arrested outside the building on the active warrants. A search revealed a COâ‚‚ BB gun pistol in his possession. As a result, he was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds. Johnson was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and later remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail following arraignment.

On November 10, 2025 at around 5:50 pm, Officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to Tops Markets on Washington St. for a report of shoplifting in progress. Through investigation, officers determined that Donna J. Torres damaged store merchandise to remove it from its original container to conceal the merchandise on her person.

Furthermore, it was found that Torres was attempting to conceal more merchandise in an attempt to not pay for the items located. Officers took Torres into custody without incident and transported her to the Jamestown City Jail. Torres was charged with Attempted Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree. Donna is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

On November 5, 2025, around 3:00am, officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to an address on the city's Eastside for reports of a person with a weapon. Upon arrival, officers had been informed that Tammy Johnson had displayed a black handgun during an altercation with the victim. Officers made contact with
Tammy at the residence through the door, however, she refused to exit the apartment.

Tammy was given several opportunities to come outside, however, refused all verbal commands to exit the residence. A search warrant was obtained and executed by the Jamestown Police Department's SWAT team in order to gain entry. Tammy was taken into custody without incident. Tammy Johnson was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she was charged with Menacing in the 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. Tammy was held pending arraignment.

On November 5, 2025, at around 3:04pm, Officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to 315 N. Main St for an Assist Fire/ Rescue call with a fire alarm activation. Through investigation at the scene, it was determined that Donna J. Torres intentionally pulled the fire alarm at 315 N. Main St., despite there being no active fire. Donna was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Donna was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 2nd Degree and is being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment. This is the second time that Torres had been arrested by JPD that day. She was arrested and charged earlier in the day with Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree around 11:30am. Torres was at a northside business destroying merchandise while attempting to shoplift from the store.

On November 3, 2025, Officers of the Town of Ellicott Police Department were called to a report of destroyed property complaint. Through investigation, it is alleged that Maldraha N. Marshall (20F), of Jamestown, threw a mobile phone off of a 2nd floor balcony causing the phone to break.

Marshall was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd and released on an appearance ticket. Marshall is due to appear in the Town of Ellicott court at a later date to answer to the charge(s).

On November 4, 2025, at around 3:38 pm, Officers of the Jamestown Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Falconer St and Lakeview Ave for observed traffic violations. Officers identified the occupant of the vehicle to be Alexander L. Digirolamo. Through investigation, it was found that Alexander was in possession of 113.4 grams of Methamphetamine.

Alexander was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Alexander was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree. Alexander was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court

On November 4th, 2025, around 1:45am officers of the Jamestown Police Department observed a male and a female committing a vehicle and traffic law violation in the south side of the city. Officers initiated a street check on the two individuals. While speaking to the female, she identified herself as Jennifer A. Glover. Glover was known to have an active warrant out of the City of Jamestown. As officers confirmed the warrant and attempted to place her into custody, she fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, she was taken into custody. Officers performed a search of Glover where she was found to be in possession of a quantity of Fentanyl.

The male subject also gave officers a fake name, in effort to evade arrest as he had an active warrant out of Jamestown as well. Through investigation, he was identified as Laval A. Johnson and then taken into custody. Glover is being charged with Criminal Impersonation in the 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and a traffic citation. Glover will answer to her arrest warrants. Johnson is being charged with False Personation, a traffic citation and will also answer to his bench warrant. Both subjects were held pending arraignment.
